Today I started my new exercise routine. I leave home 6.30AM and then a half an hour walk down and along the esplanade at a brisk pace.
By that stage I am more than 30 minutes from home and well to walk back (now uphill) would be pushing it.
So here's my tip - use a hop on and hop off bus on the way home. Hopping is really good for you - at each stop on the way home you can hop off and then hop around quickly to the front of the bus, and hop back on. In this way you keep your heart rate elevated (& that of the bus driver) without the slog of walking uphill.
As always - use it or lose it! xxx
